Pilates mat is an innovative and safe method of mind-body exercise using a floor mat or a variety of equipment (mini ball, resistance band, fitball, Pilates ring, toning balls, foamroller etc.).
It evolved from the principles of Joseph Pilates (Breath, Concentration, Control, Precision, Centre and Flow) and can dramatically transform the way your body looks, feels and performs.
Pilates teaches body awareness, good posture and easy, graceful movement. It also improves flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination, agility and focuses more on muscle tone than building muscles.
The Pilates method approaches are either therapeutic, in order to alleviate musculoskeletal pain, or preventive, working with body imbalances which may never cause you pain.
Furthermore many elite athletes prefer this amazing method for maintenance of the condition level and improving their skills.
Do you lack of good posture? Are you seeking for movement optimization and activity without pain?

Restorative yoga is a style of yoga that encourages physical, mental, and emotional relaxation that's why it's appropriate for all levels. Restorative yoga is practiced at a slow pace, focusing on long holds, stillness, and deep breathing.
This yoga style is known for its ability to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, that's why it's well described as the power to “stimulate what needs to be stimulated, and calm down what needs to be calmed”.
This is the “rest and digest” part of your nervous system that helps keep basic functions working as they should.
Restorative yoga asanas go through the use of props (yoga blocks, straps, bolsters, blankets, pillows) for support, and many of the postures are held almost effortlessly.
Do you remember the feeling of being truly relaxed, your body soft, warm and supple?
If you do not, then this is for you!

Pilates for breast cancer rehab
Pilates can play an integral role in breast cancer recovery not only for its physiological benefits but for boosting self-esteem, confidence, and an overall sense of well-being. The exercises repattern musculature in an effective but non-aggressive manner resulting in increased strength, flexibility, and mobility which unfortunately was lost due to the invasive nature of breast cancer treatment.
The various Pilates exercises help develop muscular flexibility and strength while increasing metabolism and promoting lymphatic, respiratory, and circulatory function.
